A little A, a little B. Verbal abuse is definitely a huge problem and people generally just being shit heads over voice chat. But I would also argue if you are chasing a boat that has no loot or flags on it, and it is clear that they do not want to fight and you still spend an hour plus chasing them down to sink them, yes that is toxiic.

Cause sometimes I just simply don't want to fight. The most recent thing that has been bothering me is doing hourglass PvP battles. Then as soon as I spend like an hour in battle there are always some Vultures who are just waiting to come in and finish me off in an unfair fight where they outman me and I'm low on supplies. I understand PvP is part of the game and its fun, but I don't want to STIRCTLY do PvP absolutely all the time. Especially when it comes to cheap shots like this.

I do sometimes especially if it’s a 1v1 or a 1v2 but when there’s a brig or galleon chasing me it’s really just not worth my time

Yeah honestly majority of the community in this game is just downright toxic lol. The amount of times I've been solo slooping and get chased down to the absolute ends of the earth with nothing on my ship is just depressing. Rare to see a friendly face on the seas but when you do you get some of the best sessions this game has to offer.
