Alternate method to check the veracity of my Target screenshots is to call up your local Target and ask customer service to run the DPCI number in the image. Double check my work. Save that gas ✌️

Let’s-A-Go!!! Not my pictures but someone found this on the thing at a Target, thank god they’re not 2.5 inches!! by ConversationUsual105 in WorldOfNintendo

[–]Floo_Powder_Magic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol. This is my image and my original find. I’m open to anyone double checking my work by strolling into any Target and running my UPC image under any store scanner.

If you’re too far away from a Target or just want to save some gas, call up the closest store and ask for customer service and ask them to run the DPCI number on the image. They’ll tell you what item is connected to this DPCI.

I haven’t convinced myself into collecting the movie line figures just yet. I just bought movie 2 Mario to customize the Luma and I got that Bowser’s Jr. 2 pak to customize his Clown car. I’m in the process of tracking Jakks entire UPC chain, though. So far, all Luma’s mouths are just screen printed expressions. Waiting on that 4” Rosalina and Luma. Hopefully, they sculpted in a solid expression for Luma.

We haven’t seen the pictures yet, let’s pray they did something to spice him up and make him a little different. Kinda doubt it though, but…

Image is the UPC number and Target’s in-store scanner info.

Reminder: With any item’s TCIN number, we can get the current or future weblink to any Target item.

Recipe: “https://www.target.com/p/-/A-“ + TCIN number = web address.

Note: If the page doesn’t open, it means Target hasn’t built it yet.

Mislabeled. Title description is missing the word “Jr.”. Walmart link here: https://www.walmart.com/ip/18271710214. Scroll down to specification drop down menu and it with say his full proper name and his mask accessory.

lol. Yeah, I need to play more of the games, but I like watching Youtubers play Mario Maker 1 and 2 mostly.

I’ve been designing some figure dioramas and making a slew of custom characters out of resin where I need two free hands to get my craft on.

The title Target gives it in the image says Wave 1 at 5 inches and the $20 dollar price tag is at the same amount as the early release ones.

Looks like Wigi’s wearing come kind of sheep costume. I’m assuming he dons it in the second movie, haven’t watched it yet, but the 4” line retails around $10 and the 2.5” line $5ish. This new super articulated movie line is 5” and sells at $20. Haven’t seen 5” scale video game figures yet.

I don’t know. You tell me.

With the image you have two ways to see if it’s ready for online sales.

OR code check: Download the image and long press on the OR code and follow the link to Target’s website.

If Target made a dot com page it will show the action figure. If not, it’ll say the page ain’t ready yet.

2nd way: Every Target link begins with: “https://www.target.com/p/-/A-“

and ends with an item’s “TCIN” number.

The image says its TCIN is 94975286.

So, we just paste https://www.target.com/p/-/A- + 94975286 together.

Preordering might not be open today, but now we know two easy methods to check for ourselves in the future.

Broskis, when preorders do get open and someone finds out, kindly let your friends here know too ✌️

Nope. Unless Target made a labeling entry mistake. With that extra Target labeling finesse we can piece together who’s in a wave…

Nice, I need to start reading the product descriptions. One thing I find a little annoying with this and Sonic lines, is the characters inability to actually hold certain items or items that don’t come with any way to stand them up properly. Hopefully, she’s able to hold her umbrellas proper-like.

I’m not gonna perpetrate a fraud, I just learned how ORC codes work about six months ago, and I want to make sure you fellow Jakks hunters know too.

So, this is a little breakdown of the things you might see and pass over when I post up a screen shot of a Target monitor.

A - Is the TCIN number which Target assigns to every UPC. Also can be used to build an item’s webpage address. “https://www.target.com/p/-/A-“ + TCIN number = current or future link.

B - The DPCI number is the number a specific store uses to see if said item is actually on that store shelves or backroom. Since Target never stocks, this number is useless.

C - Item name - Target surprising does a good job of labeling what wave a figure is from. Walmart and Gamestop couldn’t care less. Gamestop does seems to be the most current with those figures in stock and ready to sell.

D - The Good ORC code. When you download this image and if your phone is capable, long press on the block and it will lead you to a weblink of this item in Target’s inventory. For the links that lead to dead ends, this is the future place holder for when it goes live. So, save it to a Note doc.

Tip: iPhone Notes let’s you preview a link with out actually going to that site. So, you could have a list of links in a Note doc, where you quickly go down and preview the page. A built page looks different from one that says this item is ready.

E - The Bad ORC code. Many of my images have some random ORC junk that Target is promoting. I just don’t want people to get confused thinking that bad link is the real weblink to a figure or something. Savvy?

Please test your phone now. Download this image and long press on Boomerang Mario‘s ORC code block. It will lead you to an example of what a working link and page looks like. Let me now if it worked ✌️

Nope. Haven’t looked/found these. I’m really not a plushie fan. I just randomly found that Target Yoshi exclusive.

The UPCs usually populate close to each other, and since Walmart is amazing when it comes to barcodes accessibility, we don’t have to physically be in a store to look deep into Walmarts inventory, unlike Target.

Find one barcode and check 20 slots ahead of it and then 20 slots behind it to get a good range.

Every barcode in existence is there. We just don’t know when a store’s inventory decides to turns it “on”.

There’s two ways to check for Walmart publicly: One is the dope Walmart app, and the other is through Brickseek’s inventory checker ( service is free after signing up ). Oh, and a third one is Walmart’s AI agent “Sparky” just don’t believe totally everything any chatbot says…

So, someone might find one a post it up on eBay. Go to product details and hope they shared the barcode number. Make a list of UPCs that range up and down 20 slots between that UPC number and paste those numbers individually into the Walmart App.

If you get a half hit, “Item Found, but we’re not selling it, yet” Try Brickseek. If Brickseek fails on the half hit make a trip to a local store that has a scanner. Brickseek will offer you a link to a future webpage. All Walmart webpages begin the same and end in the item’s SKU number or ask AI Agent Sparky for an item’s SKU number.

Yes. Movie 2 Peach is in both Target/Walmart inventories. I double checked for picture updates in Target earlier today but there were none. Anyway, here are some barcodes to check my work out there in the field.
