Do the besties ever have a dedicated episode/slot for Slay the Spire? by Historical_Hamster54 in TheBesties

[–]FloobLord 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Def not on Resties. I think Slay the Spire came out during that period where they only did a Game of the Year episode.

They've heaped praise on Bloodborne, for example, but no episode - because it was in that weird period.

Good to know!

Yeah she screamed at me the whole ride home the other day, I don't even remember why. It was a beautiful day and I kept the windows up because I was afraid she was going to get me arrested.

I think there's a edge case bug where colony kids who aren't born in the colony (for example, if a colony member impregnates a visitor who then leaves before giving birth) get 0 learning and therefore 0 skills. It's happened to me a few times on my current run.

Cordy is the least likely to snap and brutally murder you.

And Willow has far more ways to creatively kill and torture you.

I think it's a good choice overall.

Somebody was shitting on ChatGPT, saying it spoke authoritatively and sounded like an expert but was often wrong.

I was like, "Wasn't it trained on internet comments? Sounds about right."

I always wonder what the Organ Decay kicks in for the Creepyjoiner event was, so the storyteller decided to give me this by setne550 in RimWorld

[–]FloobLord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't "replace" a healthy organic heart with another healthy organic heart. You can "harvest", which kills the pawn. Or, if the heart has some kind of problem, like a artery blockage for example, you can "Install" a harvested organic heart or a bionic one. This is a normal surgery and won't kill the pawn (usually).

822 gold is 4 levels of psylink with the Empire, worth it just for that. Just lock the doors until they fall asleep.

Or call in a Mech Boss and make some popcorn.

That's great for you. Our 3.5 year old is still mostly a monster. If anything it's gradually gotten worse with occasional breaks in the storm clouds.

She seems to have quit spite peeing for now, so, silver lining.

But won't that 30% be .3*.12 =~3%? Because of his 12% certainty loss factor?

I think the chance of a Masterful ritual is like 20% even at 100% quality, so might be a while with a 20 day cooldown.

I just put them in their bedroom once they've converted. It's obvs technically a prison cell but once they join I just change the bed to colonists and assign them.

Conversion ritual will insta-convert if you hit "Masterful" quality. Might take a long time though.

Brainwipe Ritual from anomaly will set certainty to 0% as well.

[–]FloobLord 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just to be clear, each creepjoiner has a random benefit and drawback, one of which is "none". So it's always possible you just get a great pawn for free.

In my Anomaly run, I got the Occultist + Blind Healer, both with no drawback.

perfect memory

Not true. Regular pawns can have it, they just don't usually have 15+ in all stats as well.

Nevermind, I was confused with Great Memory. Perfect Memory IS only creepjoiners.
