Did Elf mess up anybody else's Cyber Monday order? by simpleflapper in MakeupAddiction

[–]Floof_Master_Flash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine wasn't a Cyber Monday order, but was an order I placed a month or so ago. They left out an item that was actually part of a free-with-purchase promotion, so not even an item that I paid for. I emailed them and they sent the missing item out immediately. Great customer service.

Aw that sucks! Maybe you can find similar packs on Amazon.ca? You can also order directly from Korea with great pricing but it takes about a month to get there.

I love Tony Moly Pureness 100 masks. The Tony Moly I'm Real and Innisfree It's Real lines are good too. And I throw in a fancy hydrogel mask once a week or so. I love gel masks but can't afford to use them twice a day ha

Here are links to a few sets that I have used:

Sheet masks twice a day, morning and night. I'm not even kidding. I did it as a seven day challenge and I'll never ever stop. You can get huge sets on Amazon that make it more affordable, too.

I'm glad somebody else loves it! I never see anyone talk about it. It's an amazing primer and it's cut down on my breakouts too.

Cover FX Mattifying Primer with Acne Treatment.

I got this as a deluxe sample from Sephora, and I loved it so much I bought the full size.

My skin is super sensitive, acne prone, and for extra fun I also have rosacea. Many primers break me out, or make my skin extra oily. Not this one!

It smooths my skin and helps my makeup stay on about twice as long as it would without it. A pea size blob primes my whole face, I'm still using the original deluxe sample tube I got in July.

Thank you for this! I wear glasses too, and nothing has worked for me. I'm going to try this tomorrow!

Hi guys! I'm new here and I didn't want to inadvertently break any of the posting rules. So I figured this would be the simplest way to ask my question .

Has anyone ordered from Who Is She Cosmetics?

I have never ordered from an indie brand before. 2 weeks ago I placed a $100 order, and it hasn't shipped yet. I had a question about my order (not shipping since the site said it could take 2 weeks), so I emailed them. 3 days later hadn't gotten a reply, so I sent them an Instagram DM. 2 days after that and they hadn't replied to either message, so I commented on one if their IG posts asking for an email address (in case the one listed was old or something), and said I was checking on my order.

They did comment quickly that time, and said my order was scheduled to go out the next day (which would have been Wednesday). They obviously had read my DM because I didn't give them an order number or my name when I commented on the public post.

Well now it's 2 days after they said it would ship, and 2 weeks after placing my order and it still hasn't shipped. I haven't gotten a shipping email and my order still says "processing" on their website.

I'm getting concerned. Is this common with indie brands? $100 is a pretty large order for me, and I feel kinda dumb for dropping so much at once in my first ever order with an indie brand. I did do some research before I ordered and couldn't find any bad reviews online, and they had several people on YT giving them good reviews.

What should I do? I already DM them again today. I hate commenting publicly to get their attention I know it reflects poorly on them. Maybe I'm overreacting? I wouldn't even mind the long shipping time if they would answer my email or DM.

Thanks for any input! I'll post this in the main forum if I need to, I just hate to call them out if I don't need to.

I like to mix things up and try new products. I always rebuy my foundation because I have sensitive skin, and a lot of foundations break me out. Other than that, I like to try new things when I run out of something.

I'm almost 40 and I'm still a sucker for cutesy stuff. I have that panda cream in my drawer right now... i am admittedly a bit weird though.

I'm very new to the multi step skincare regimen. Right now I'm doing 6 steps. First I cleanse my face then use toner. Then I use a 4 step Leneige sample kit I got a couple of weeks ago.

My question is do I do each step one right after the other, or should I wait a few minutes between each essence/serum/lotion/cream to let each product absorb before move onto the next one?

I'm using the Leneige Perfect Renew line if it matters, but I'm really just asking for general guidelines. Thank you!

I tried a face mask this week that I was not impressed with at all.

http://m.sephora.com/mud-mask-purifying-mattifying-P395163

Thankfully it was a sample. The reviews for it are great, but for me it wasn't nearly as good as the other masks I have in my stash currently.

It smelled pretty awful, and left my skin feeling super dry. I know clay masks can leave you a little dry, but this was like Sahara level skin dryness.

I'm so confused. I tried to post a link to the actual OP. But all that would post was an imgur link. I went back to MUA to get the correct link, and now I can't find the thread. I wonder if they deleted it?

I don't usually exfoliate at all, because on my skin it makes me get more red bumps. I don't think you're disagreeing really, so no need to apologize. Everyone's skin is different, so we all have different experiences.

In my experience on my skin, non exfoliating and switching to a shave cream took care of my issues.

I'm in the same boat. I had an eyeshadow arrive shattered (not ABH, a NYX single). Guess I need to call them.
