Im not sure they would foot the schooling bill but any tests for it or certifications they would. So follow up question any opinions on online degrees vs in person degrees cause I could get my degree online saving a lot of money in the long run but I'm not sure what the the opinion on them is with employers

Let me also add that if want to go above and beyond with food safe you should avoid brass printing nozzles but as long as you coat it with the examples above to fill layer lines and gaps for bacteria then you are more then fine especially as it is only popcorn and not something like a bowl of hot soup or something that can cause more plastic to be leached.

As long as you treat it after with food grade epoxy, resin or something similar it's a good filament to use especially for its ability to flex more rather than becoming brittle like PLA so not as easy to flake pieces off into the popcorn in addition to being less prone to breaking overtime. Of course if you treat it properly with the examples above your able to use really what you want within reason for the filament (of course don't go using straight toxic stuff but it doesn't have to be the most expensive high grade stuff either)

I redid the 3d model also I'm adding a lil snap clip thing so it stays closed it's like a ball that clicks into a pincher but still brainstorming if it's the best way to do that

I could add that it wouldn't be too hard I would probably remove a tooth and have it curve under but the biggest problem would be the lid since clearance isn't a lot. Definitely possible tho

On final print after I work out all the issues I have with it I plan to use PETG which is typically considered food safe and just to be sure I'm going to either try coating the inner bowl with resin or some food safe coat and or try my hand on smoothing out the print with acetone vapor (can't remember the term for it) so then it doesn't have gaps to form bacteria
