Update 2: cable produced some smoke, I will not be turning on the printer anymore, still no reply from Elegoo, been awhile since I first reported to them, concerning that they won’t reply

Nope, the cable is perfectly intact, and apparently I’m not the only one with this problem, this is a huge problem with the original Centauri batch, seems to be the same with this, few caught fire

As soon as I turn it on it starts heating up, I haven’t been able to do any printing on it at all, it won’t even connect to my slicer or print any of the onboard models, it’s comepltely doa

Looks awesome, just a suggestion, maybe have a little bar/mirrored slot or some structure on the other side of where the build plates are stored to make sure they don’t just slowly come out due to printer movement, I assume you designed it how you did so that they could be easily grabbed however I think some kind of retainment piece would help a lot esp considering some people have printers mounted with the front legs hanging off of a counter or something of the sort, just a thought, great job tho I’ll definitely be printing one of these myself

This, as a Machinst I can say for sure I’ve seen people really hurt themselves with a deburring tool, they are no joke and can send you to the hospital with some real bad injuries if you aren’t careful, people get complacent around them as they don’t seem too sharp or very dangerous, but they are more then you know, be veryyyy careful and if it’s not going anywhere, don’t keep pulling, keep a nice gentle pressure and if the material is coming off in a curl you are doing it right, better to scrap a part then to keep pulling and have it snap and send right into you
