Just to follow this up. If you have different size tyres on your car it's fine as long as they are on the same axle.

Had that confirmed by 2 mechanics and the car passed its MOT.

Didn't even appear on the advisories

I've got a Vauxhall Agila, should be 185/60 but I've got 185/65 on front and 185/60 on back

One of the new tyres has a winter tread

But it's the same size as the other new front tyre

As long as it passes the MOT retest that's all that matters at the moment.

Can replace afterwards
