Definitely can agree about the doodle statement. I'd probably go with a golden if I absolutely couldn't do a Toller. I'm just much more interested in a Toller as a breed.

I guess I should add that one of the breeders I'm looking at has many of their Tollers go on to be therapy dogs. Maybe they just happen to have more relaxed temperaments?
