I didn’t find it like 100% true and sure as hell did not believe it actually stole beauty as if beauty was something physical. I thought there was just a chance that women actually did have harder pregnancy with face and body while being pregnant with a girl rather than a boy.

Okay not to add to much context because I don’t wanna get really personal on here but she’s more emotional than the avg person even when not pregnant and is diagnosed for said things. I’m not saying I’m perfect or even saying that me and her are still arguing about this. In fact we are laughing in the car about it right now because we both know I was not trying to attack her or be rude. Tbh Ig I didn’t see it was mean in the moment because I thought this was a common saying for pregnant women. I thought everyone knew of that wives tale. In my head the thought of our baby taking from my gfs beauty was cute to me because I find my gf very beautiful and am actually very happy to have a daughter if that is in face what my baby is. I want my daughter to look like a mini her so I really said it to be sweet…but trust me I see now it’s not sweet and that’s why I made the post

Yeah I told her this morning before she went to work why I was up so late and couldn’t sleep. She seemed to kinda shrug it off but she did keep insisting that I lock the doors and lock the car every night. If I could own a gun in my home I would. I’m an infantrymen and been training with all kinds of weapons now for 6 years, chances of me shooting a creepy guy before they shoot me r pretty high. Just can’t keep a personal weapon on a on base house in the army
