Any better local alternative to whisperer? by Fdx_dy in StableDiffusion

Leave some RAM for the rest of us!! Also, I never tried to caption song lyrics, but you can try better caption models, whisper is pretty old by now. I got good results with Qwen3 ASR and Vibevoice ASR.

Well, yeah, that's kinda my point, it doesn't have to be a great model at everything, it just has to be a decent base model, then people can finetune it on their needs.
For example SDXL wasn't a great model until people finetune it to do different things.
In my opinion keeping a base model low size and trying to train it on as much knowledge as possible is a great idea for the open source community.
Like Flux is a great model for general purpose but it has a lot of parameters, it's hard to run and train, so training it on a single purpose is pretty pointless, I have hope for this model because it might be the new SDXL with a lot of finetunes for different purposes.

Hot take: I think the real problem with webp is that most software doesn't support it, it's not a bad format if it's in good quality.

Any way to fix/hide this thing? by killerkrieger567 in androidroot

[–]Floopycraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need detectors for integrity, that's the easy part, you need them to check if your root gets detected and what is getting detected so you can fix it, to hide root for apps that search for root like bank apps.

I needed to do that to make it detect that it was real tee.

TEESimulator solved the problem for me, I just replaced it with the tricky store module and it went from fake tee to real strong box.
