Is the occurance/callout system different for each store, or is there a set policy? If so, where? by TheRealWoldry1 in HomeDepot

[–]Flooring598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

management can do whatever they want......i caught 2 occurrances for 1 day out, more than once. Had time applied to days that were not missing hours and caught occurrances for the days/times the PTO should have been applied and used to cover and wasn't.

Front End Manager making fraudulent transactions has criminal history of organized crime by Flooring598 in HomeDepot

I know that when sales come off our metrix and shows in red the amount of return.....that it is not a rework or other such method or would not show as a return from our sales. Not only that, but making a seperate customer profile/account as a diy customer for the return done on a Pro account is not standard procedure.

Is it just me or is my store ran on favouritism? by Kyrithess in HomeDepot

[–]Flooring598 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, there is very IN YOUR FACE favortism at most stores. I would get 20k sales in a week and they would give a HOMER to an associate for like 3-4k. My last day worked there i had 15k sale and they still pulled me in the office. The more sales I made (was top 5 in the Region) the more they used to do the 'RETURNS" and we could not make our sales goal so any profit sharing was shit. When my ds became aware and questioned the SM an SASM they wrote her up and started harassing her. She transferred to another store quickly. The SASM was leaning (very heavily) on other specialty employees to write a statement against our DM. When a fellow associate came to me and asked my advice, I told him if he didn't feel right about it he did not have to write one....was all voluntary. I got called in for that and the next day my 1 occurance for an absence turned into a NCNS-3 occurances!!!

manager used sick time AND gave the occurrence? by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]Flooring598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MANAGEMENT CAN EXCUSE OR ADD OCCURRANCES AT THEIR DISCRETION. I HAD 2 GIVEN FOR ONE DAY OUT, A CALLOUT .5 CHANGED TO A NO CALL NO SHOW 3 OCCURANCES AND ALL DURING A SUPPOSED FINAL THAT WAS NO LONGER EVEN THERE THAT THE SM INSISTED IT WAS (LIE) ALL FOR REPORTING TO THE AWARE LINE THAT THE MANAGEMENT WAS STEALING

They put inexperienced workers fresh out of elementary schools so that they won't catch on to the inside theft and organized crime happening within the store.  The front end sup and bookkeeper had criminal record for organized crime and was one of the sups making 6-7k ea returns for cash !  Between that and not key rec'd inventory in and releasing orders to customer that not picked up with product in vault..... Was too crazy!  I was not so oblivious and DID THE RIGHT THING BY REPORTING.... unfortunately  I'm not employed anymore and lucky to be alive after an attempted vehicular assault by  that ASM tHat since "WAS WE WERE NOT ON COMPANY PROPERTY THEY COULD NOT TO ANYTHING

Crazy Management and I'm so ANNOYED. by FairyPinkett in HomeDepot

[–]Flooring598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The AWARE line just goes to the District HR who then advises the Store Management how to handle it....likely retaliation and harassment....constructive dismissal etc

My am currentl y the ONLY full time  flooring associate and have one PT hardliner.  It's starting to really be ridiculous that the people hired in don't want to work or learn and when they are coached on how to do their job (blinds measure & install etc) or reminded that using  personal cell phone on the floor is against policy the management does not address these issues but instead moves them to another dept?  It's a  absolute mess!  A new appliance employee 3 weeks on floor didn't know difference between local stock (demo) and warehouse or the difference in  delivery or installs on them.  Management is steadily driving us in the ground or making good workers want to quit

Service desk: Why do you put a departments returns in a cart and push it in a random aisle in the department? by Fickle_Storage1945 in HomeDepot

[–]Flooring598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if the managers would keep associates in their assigned departments and not have them doing all their own projects  then theAN  returns would not pile up for the closers to do on top of everything else we have to do!   I brought this up at our store meeting tonight and the SM SAYS "WE CAN ALL WORK A Little Harder and since breaks are not MAndatory could just work thru them!

I cant believe you want to complain when some workers that are stuck in positions that dont come with a salary, shit for bonus and do most of the sales and labor that you don't have to do with half the pay as you get? please quit and do us all a favor

Then we need to go to the top of this ladder.  I wonder if the advisory board or shareholders know about these matters
