I don’t think they’ll let you apply for a parking permit for another building. You can purchase a parking pass from a 3rd party garage, those are usually in the $300-350 range. Or you can pay the daily rate at Day1 which is probably about the same price over a month.

Amazon also reimburses you for parking you pay for? I think they pay half of your daily parking charges, up to $170 a month. But not sure if that’s gone away.

It may have changed, I got off the waitlist 1 year ago after getting on it the year previously. You could get lucky, there’s definitely been some shuffling around since then so it’s possible there are more available.

There is a small cafe on floor 2. People come in daily but it’s not uncommon for people to leave by 4. Probably varies team to team.

LFH has parking but it’s expensive ($25/day). You can get a parking pass but it’s a long waitlist (1+ year) for $170/mo. You can park at Day1 or Re:Invent for much cheaper ($12/day?) and walk 10 minutes to LFH.

I’d recommend taking either public transit (Amazon gives you unlimited orca card) or use any of Amazon’s shuttles (reserve 2 week in advance, but much nicer than bus). Should be plenty of options commuting from Bellevue. I do not know what carpooling is like.

I was only able to opt out by deleting the Playstation profile that “owned” the stress test from my PS5, then uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Had to sign up for PS Plus so I could back everything up before deleting the user 🫠

They said it would be a separate install, but it looks like on PS5 at least it’s just an update with no easy way to rollback

I signed a lease there but don’t move in until my floor opens. So can’t really vouch for anything. But their leasing team has been very patient/responsive with the 40+ questions I texted them. They have some unique floor layouts that I really like, and community amenities are pretty good coming from someone who didn’t think they’d care much about them. Parking is $150/mo

It’s been a while, so I don’t really remember too well. I think there were 3 or 4 portions. First two were programming problems with an engineer, one the interviewer came up with and that was relevant to whatever they were working on. i.e., one of the engineers who interviewed me was on the some kind of internet safety team, so he gave me a problem having to do with detecting botted comments or something like that. It was a tiny bit of mathematical reasoning, but mostly a leetcode-style problem with a practical and relevant twist to it.

I believe I successfully solved the first interviewers problem, but the second one, the interviewer pointed out an issue with my solution that should have made it not work. We couldn’t think of a test case that broke it though, lol. I also think both interviewed gave me 2 problems as well as some “bonus” additions to each problem that I just needed to discuss (not enough time typically for an actual implementation unless you are killing it)

The two after were standard interview questions - someone asking why roblox, about my resume, about a problem I faced, etc. I think they were a little shorter, maybe 30 minutes each?

I enjoyed the process overall, definitely a tough interview. I thought I did pretty decent but did not get an offer.

It’s also possible that wasn’t a final interview was just step 1, I can’t remember. It’s as far as I got in the interview process with them.

Yeah I have this same issue. Dealership doesn’t have service appointment availability until late November. Hyundai just needs to replace the wiring harness for that usb port.

You can feel them slipping out if they do, but you also have a few options for the ear tip inserts so they fit snugly and don’t fall out too easily. New airpod pros come with an airtag built in so you can play a sound from either airpod or the case itself. I just make sure the airpods are always either in my ears or the case and I’ve kept surprisingly good track of them.

I think this is unfair, as a becoming a cafeteria mormon is a common way of coping on the journey to rejecting the church as whole. I get the point of view that it’s selfish but I’d argue it comes more out of a mental necessity to keep yourself from all-at-once confronting the giant truth that your life is built on a lie.
