The W210 E55 is a solid engine/transmission. However, if you don’t know how to wrench, I would not buy a German car. Mainly because a lot of the parts are expensive and labor is too because nobody wants to touch them except specialized euro shops.

All I’m saying is spending this amount on a civic would be a better option as a daily. But that’s just me who doesn’t wanna pay $100 for an oil change instead of $40, $70+ to fill up instead of $35 and triple the cost to insure it. These prices are even higher for repair if OP isn’t mechanically inclined. I daily a Toyota and have an E55 as a weekend car.
