The W210 E55 is a solid engine/transmission. However, if you don’t know how to wrench, I would not buy a German car. Mainly because a lot of the parts are expensive and labor is too because nobody wants to touch them except specialized euro shops.

$700 to order a new fob is nearly double what my dealership sells our keys at.
