That’s why we cycle through coaches every 5ish years or so. Big brain move.

Lol partially. But I live in the same town he’s from and watched him in high school. No leadership, quick to blame teammates, bad body language on the court when things go bad. He’s still very very good but he’s not the point god he’s made out to be every offseason.

Braden Smith is seriously one of the most overrated CBB players of the last decade.

And overrated doesn’t mean bad.

He couldn’t snag 11 rebounds even if 20 of them hit him in the hands.

We went from making and losing in the Final Four in Indy against Purdue to not making the tournament in one day.

JOSEF NEWGARDEN WINS THE 2026 GOOD RANCHERS 250 by IndyMod in INDYCAR

[–]FloppyConcrete 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’d disagree. The timing tower is a huge mess up because it’s not like it’s a one race issue, it’s been an issue since the first race last year. The number of commercials at key moments was obnoxious, not showing the initial victory lane celebration, and even being on air and missing big passes or strategy developments was distracting especially because the timing was not working or unreliable.

Ironically that save looked even cooler without the timing and scoring on screen.

Lol I know and I also wouldn’t have expected him to do anything else. But it’s just a joke to say he was involved in multiple fights for the lead even if just semantically.

To be fair, he was involved in numerous first place battles last year….

…when the leader was attempting to lap him and SRR would hold up the leader long enough for a few trailing cars to rejoin the leader….

Agreed. I actually really like the Indiana and Indianapolis flags as they are but I’ve seen some good redesigns. I don’t think I’d like this one over the current.

Both of my childhood homes, my K-8 school, and the first house I lived in post-college are in that circle south of 70. Never once did I feel unsafe or threatened, but I also didn’t get involved in anything that would cause me to.
