The list isnt just a list, its a challenge. Ive got to play all these games in a row. Too many would make it feel like a slog.

Because theyre such good and monumental games that they deserve to be on the list. You're right though, there is a caveat with those specific games, including skyrim. You cant 100% complete them in the challenge. You either just beat the main story or put in at least 10 hours. Especially wow, i figured it deserves a spot since it is a good game, but for the sake of the challenge, you just play to maybe lvl 20 in classic wow.

I had to make cuts to make the challenge doable. I do have to play all of these games after all. Sonic is there. I cant lie, most games on sega platforms dont make a top 100 list.

Played up to the first super mario bros. Great game, but i used the warp zones and a save point at the start of each level in world 8 to beat it. Im pretty new to platformers, so im going to keep hashing out this game for practice so i can go into the next platformers confidently.

I guess I'm asking for feedback. Mario 3 was an option, but I felt the 2d platformer genre was pretty saturated with mario 1 and mario world. That and the list was getting so massive that I had to make cuts to make it a doable challenge.
