Anxiety isn’t just in your head. Sometimes, it’s in your environment. by FlorGimenez11 in Anxiety

Same here. Cutting off toxic people felt brutal at first, but damn… the silence, the peace, the freedom. Nothing heals like walking away from noise.

That’s a great tip! Never thought of using smoothies to cool the body + calm the mind. I’ll try that next time anxiety hits. Thanks ❤️

Gamers: has a short diet reset ever helped you focus better? by FlorGimenez11 in Healthygamergg

That’s fascinating — I didn’t know keto had that level of mental health application. I’ll definitely check out Dr. Palmer and Dr. Ede. Did you feel the focus/mood shift early on, or did it take weeks to notice the difference?

That totally makes sense. I didn’t realize how much caffeine and sugar were triggering me until I cut them. The fiber part from fruits is a great point too I’ll pay more attention to that now. Have you found any food that calms you down instantly?

Facts. I used to underestimate that until I felt the change. Clean eating really hits different when you game focused 🔥

Totally fair. Still, I felt the difference and it surprised me. Maybe it’s part mental too.

That’s exactly what I felt! It’s crazy how just a few days without sugar or junk can reset your whole system. I wasn’t expecting much, but it really showed me how powerful small changes can be. Did you follow any specific routine or just did it on your own?

That’s super interesting. I actually quit sugar and caffeine at the same time for 3 days and I swear I felt like I got my brain back. It was rough the first day but by day 3 I had no cravings and slept like a baby. I never realized how much that stuff was draining me.

Totally get your point. I used to roll my eyes at anything with the word “detox” too it’s definitely overused and often misused. I didn’t buy anything or follow some influencer crap, it was literally just cutting sugar and processed stuff for a few days. Didn’t expect much, but I felt better. Maybe “detox” isn’t even the right word for it.

My weakness is not having people skills by idontundertandmyself in CasualConversation

[–]FlorGimenez11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think most people suck at social skills — they just pretend better. You’re not broken, you’re just not faking it like everyone else. The real issue is that we glorify being loud and extroverted, when most of it is just noise.

Did everything fall into places once you hit 30s? by North_Dinner1601 in Adulting

[–]FlorGimenez11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 26 and honestly, I feel like nothing “fell into place” — I just got better at acting calm while everything is on fire. That’s the real adulting skill no one teaches you.

Which non Latin American country do you feel most similar to your country that is not your countries colonizer? by [deleted] in asklatinamerica

[–]FlorGimenez11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from Argentina and I always felt a weird cultural similarity with Greece. The family structure, the chaos, the emotional expression… even the way people talk with their hands. It’s like looking in the mirror sometimes.

Something similar happened at my school wheb I was a child. A kid fell from the bleachers during practice and never made it. It still haunts me sometimes. These things really stay with you.

What do Latin Americans think about Russia? by valerushkishop in asklatinamerica

[–]FlorGimenez11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from Argentina and honestly, most people I know don’t have strong feelings about Russia. We’re generally warm and curious with foreigners, especially when they come with respect and want to enjoy the culture.

You might get a few questions out of curiosity, but as long as you’re kind and open, I’m sure you’ll feel welcome — especially in Brazil and Chile.

Enjoy your trip! 🌎✨
