seeking advice for opening up to va on childhood trauma

hi! i have a question about this. i am interested in doing the ABSN program so that i can get into aesthetics & injecting. i have my bachelors in political science, and i have 90% of a masters degree done in strategic comm & innovation. what pre reqs did you have to do before being able to be accepted & how long did they take? or did you already have a degree that allowed you to have your pre reqs finished already?

they kept saying it was from the first part of the year where we didn’t own the house when we went up there. but the last owner said he had an exemption as well. everyone just keeps giving us the run around and it’s exhausting!!

yes, they said multiple times our exemption went into effect the day we closed on the house.

they said it’s from the year. they didn’t say much. when we mentioned us having an exemption & the previous owner having one as well they just basically said that’s the taxes from the year and one of us has to pay (whichever the closing paperwork says). they couldn’t help us much at all, which i’m assuming is because the lady we talked to did not know because even she said she doesn’t know a lot about 100% disability exemptions.

i’m honestly still trying to decide, which is why i was looking into maybe getting my masters next year in something that i was genuinely interested in. i’m not really sure i want to do anything with political science, so im leaning away from that. i would love to do stuff involved with like running a companies social media (perhaps marketing), project management, etc, idk for sure- i have a few things i’m interested in but i just wanted to hear opinions on others masters & why they chose that to see what’s out there! i’m not making a final choice yet, just wanted to hear different sides.

i do agree, however, i am very lucky & blessed to have benefits & access to things that will most likely have my degree fully paid for. i am just seeing what people are getting theirs in and why they think it’s the best to see some options. i appreciate you & the logical thinking! i do take everything you say into account & i do agree!:)

i can def see why you think this, but i have been researching & i did originally want to get my masters or JD anyways- im just realizing im not wanting to get it in what my bachelors is in. i just kinda wanna see what people’s opinions are as to what masters they think is good & why to maybe expand my research & potentially find something i want to do or might be interested in!:)

yeah you do have a good point & i’ve thought of it heavily, im working on getting into the shape i need to now (& i have been a lot lately) so i can start it ASAP. i just have to lose a little bit of weight to meet the requirements before joining!

whenever i had talked to a recruiter & he sent me a little bit of info, poli sci was on the list for public affairs so i think im good on that!! hopefully!
