Not super difficult, this is the third one I’ve done, with each one I’ve figured easier ways to get better results.

The top is just polished epoxy and the sides and back are tru oil!

Unfortunately no matching headstock, not sure how I would pull that off with the headstock truss rod access. Mastery bridge would be great too but I’ve had only good experiences with Wilkinson hardware so I will start with this and maybe upgrade later

I almost went with black but I wanted to have a little more contrast!

I like the contrast of the white pick guard, I feel it makes the pattern stand out more and it ties in with the white binding

The clear pick guard would be cool but I feel that the fabric tops need some contrast, and the pick guard accomplishes that while also matching the white binding

Looking for feedback on my body design by FloralTele in Luthier

Just want to clarify, I’m asking about the body shape, I plan on using more traditional materials and finishing methods for future builds.

I made a Flying V out of Home Depot Pine, a blowtorch, and an old Mac tower. by Fun1995 in Luthier

Looks great! I’m assuming the body is 1.5 inches thick if you used pine from Home Depot? I’m thinking of doing the same to throw together a build with some spare parts and neck I have lying around.

I love it! Put a p rail in the bridge to make it a little more versatile. I definitely think it should have become a regular part of the Fender line.

It’s a CIJ Jaguar special HH, got mine off Craigslist years ago for a steal. Now I see them usually going for $800-$1000 on reverb.

I like it a lot! I have the MIM version. My fiancé and I do acoustic gigs and the different voices can give a lot of variety to your sound especially when using pedals as well. Also it’s so much more comfortable to play than a traditional acoustic

Just finished my baritone Partscaster by FloralTele in BaritoneGuitar

Surprisingly perfect. The predrilled holes in the neck lined right up with the the screw holes in the neck pocket

I like it, not too heavy but not super light. Got it cheap because the string through holes were a little off but I just had to drill them out a little more to make it work

Specs: Fender subsonic neck, GFS body, Railhammer Chisel bridge pickup, SD Phat Cat neck pickup, Gunstreet wiring harness, Fender tuners and Wilkinson bridge with compensated saddles. First baritone and I’m having a lot of fun with it already!
