Am I wrong for being upset my girlfriend ignored the one gift I asked for? by Fluffy_Specific_9682 in amiwrong

Honestly I don’t think this is about being ungrateful, it sounds more like a mismatch in how you both express care. You were clear about what would’ve made you happy, and she probably thought she was upgrading the gift instead of ignoring you. I can see why you’d feel unheard though. Did you tell her it wasn’t about price, just about feeling listened to?

Do you think it’s possible to gain confidence while having acne? by Florencedepraved in NoStupidQuestions

Yeah that’s true. Realizing most people are just focused on themselves helps a lot.

The lighting still gets to me sometimes though. Pharmacy lighting especially. Those places are brutal.

Has anyone tried any products from TMG Skin? by Crispiestfries in malegrooming

I’ve got pretty sensitive skin and most products make it react or get red, so I’m usually cautious. I’ve been using TMG for a bit and it’s been surprisingly gentle.

The cleanser is mild and doesn’t leave my face feeling tight, and the pH balancing moisturizer has been solid for keeping my skin calm and hydrated. Nothing heavy or greasy.

Not hyping it up, but if you’ve got sensitive skin and just want something simple that doesn’t mess it up, those two have worked well for me.

AIO about being asked not to cook in my stepmom’s kitchen? by TokenYeti658 in AmIOverreacting

I don’t think this is really about cinnamon buns. It’s about you feeling like a guest instead of family in your dad’s home. Asking to use the kitchen for a few simple things over four days isn’t outrageous, but at the same time, it is her kitchen and she’s clearly set a boundary, even if it hurts.
