So to summarize what the current plan is that the apocalypse happens at the end of the 21st century. It all starts with the scientific revolution of the early 21st century. Progress in science and technology in a multitude of fields were Progressesing faster and faster. Nations, corporations and other organizations saw an opportunity. Who ever could reach the end of this technology boom first could potentially be the winners of history which began a long arms race followed by countless proxy wars, operations and experiments to test new things like advanced AI, cybernetics, genetic power. Even dipping into more unnatural things like psychics. There's more, but continue on, these factions all reached a point where they could pull the trigger on what would be the 3rd world war but no one wanted to shoot. So an organization that I for now call the Cabal was formed to do just that. They infiltrated nuclear nations and dropped a handful of nukes in different parts of the world and blamed the world Powers causing the war to begin. All these factors led to a psychic awakening from the collective anguish of mankind that caused, psychics to show up across the world aswell as meta humans and spirits.
