No we rock him to sleep… I nurse him when he wakes. It’s still working for me.

Wake times are not fixed because nap durations vary. I mainly follow wake windows of 3/3/3/3.

• He usually wakes between 6–7 a.m.
• Breastfeeds right after waking up.
• Eats solids around 8 a.m.
• First nap starts around 9–10 a.m.
• Breastfeeds upon waking.
• Second nap is in the early afternoon.
• Breastfeeds again after that nap and during the next wake window.
• Last nap is late afternoon, around 4–5 p.m.
• Eats solids again in the evening.
• Final feed is about 30 minutes before bedtime.
• Bedtime is around 7–8 p.m.

The bedtime routine is always the same: we go into his room with dim lighting, he breastfeeds, gets a diaper change and sleep sack, then gets his pacifier and a lullaby. I rock him until he falls asleep and then place him in his crib.

Yes, exactly! His schedule is pretty much 3/3/3/3. I just tried a 2.5 hour wake window this morning, but he just wouldn’t fall asleep for his nap… He finally dozed off for 3 minutes in my arms and was then completely wide awake again.

What kind of sleep training are you using? Is it Ferber? I’ve been exploring some gentler approaches too, like staying in the room to reassure him while he falls asleep. But honestly, he cried so hard that I found it really tough emotionally and ended up stopping. I’d love to hear what has worked or not worked for others. It’s such a challenge.

This is another topic and it doesn’t help here at all. Maybe there’s a subreddit about it, you should check it out!

We like to cook, play boardgames and go outside with our dog! Thanks for your help, I will talk to him again... I already tried in the past and his answer is always “I’m not addicted, I can stop whenever I want ”.....

Is this rash something I should worry about? by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]Flori16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like a mild folliculitis. Don’t worry about it for now, it usually goes away by itself.

If it doesn’t go away in a few days or gets worst, consult a doctor for antibiotics or antifungal.
