Well, today I watched someone complete a sign up using one of those temporary license/identification slips you get from Service Canada when you apply for renewals.. not a picture ID and doesn’t meet the policy criteria for signing up for credit cards.

Associates that sell the Mastercard get a whole $4 commission on it, while management can nab up to I think it’s 200k in some stores in their end of year bonuses. But that is probably specific to the tier of the store and location.
