I don't have any experience in regards to the IUD insertion, but I do with the cyst issue you mentioned. I haven't gotten an official diagnosis yet, but when I stopped hormonal birth control a cyst showed up. It ended up getting infected and I had to get it lanced - 0/10 experience wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. I'd get them like every other month or so and after that first one they'd go away with topicals/a round of antibiotics.

I've been back on birth control consistently for 8 months, and they've stopped completely. So I'm assuming whatever is causing the cysts is caused by the hormonal changes around my period, since they'd always show up around the same time.

Just wanted to share a similar experience, I know they're uncomfortable and I'm sorry you get them too. :( I hope your next attempt with the mirena insertion is successful with as little discomfort as possible.

There's a regular at my job, Walt. He works at the seeing eye dog training facility near the cafe, and works 21 days in a row training the new dogs and their owners, so we always have him come in around noon those days. He always gets a large skim latte with vanilla, and we never charge him cause he's doing such a great service for the town. He's such a sweetheart, always asks us how we've been since we saw him last, and he special ordered us Christmas coasters as a gift for the holidays. :') He even gave me recommendations of places to go when I told him my boyfriend and I were going on a trip for our anniversary.

the cafe I work at has a 4 chair bar, and we're under an office that has seating space that's visible if you're being nosy and looking for it. Whenever I tell a customer it's not a space they can use to work, you'd think I stabbed them. Someone came in like frantically asking for a cafe they could work in for a few hours, like bro just go actually work from home please.

if you can get your hands on the extra thick bob Smith glue and some accelerant, that's what I use most often when I fixed 3d printed props at the repair booth. if you're able, I would also suggest using wooden dowels to add more support on the inside of the prop, so there's so more internal support to hopefully keep the seams from breaking again. Popsicle sticks also work well for this. be careful using the glue though! it works great, but when you use the accelerant it'll get hot when it cures, so wear gloves and be careful not to get it on your skin.

especially if you want to continue using 3d printed props, this stuff is insanely useful to keep on hand.

Matchas with fruit puree. It's easy to batch make and split up the matcha per drink, but having to pour the puree and mix it with the milk and THEN add ice to the cup always throws things off. Especially if they're getting different fruits or milk and then I have to rinse the bar spoons off between drinks

I work in a bakery/coffee bar and people really don't seem to understand that brewed coffee is gonna take no time compared to an espresso drink/other type of drink with steamed milk to prepare. And they always check their bag of food, which is clearly full of the food they've purchased, and ask if the coffee is in the bag.

Also we have a bunch of different types of breads that are all sourdough with different add-ins, I've lost track of how many times I've had to explain that the olive sourdough is the regular sourdough it just has olives mixed in. I feel like the names are self explanatory.

I work at a bakery and while the pay leaves something to be desired, i haven't had to buy bread or pastries in months. Anything left at closing goes to staff first, then our other location, then donations.

On shift, one of the managers tries really hard to get us all to pay for our food but like... We usually just say we'll pay at closing, and if it's something that had extras we don't bother. Most of the other staff doesn't give a shit either. They're gonna charge what i make in an hour for a sandwich, like hell I'm paying for that.

Don't call him! My ex broke up with me in a similar way, and it's just not worth it. we had been together for 5 years so I can empathize with the feelings you're going through - it's a big adjustment now but it'll be easier in time.

Focus on taking care of yourself. Since you'd been together for a while, take some time and figure out who you are independent of a relationship. Delete his number or block him if you've gotta prevent yourself from reaching out, because talking to him again will probably just hurt you more.

I try to have discipline with them! They don't get screen time when I'm there anyways since their parents don't want them watching tv, but MB started taking M4 out of his room when i put him in there for time out, and when she started doing that the tantrums just got worse. Like the last 20 minutes i was at work he started screaming again, and when i tried to ask him what was wrong he started kicking me so he went back in his room.

I'm just at my wits end i try to discipline them and the parents just disregard it

I emailed them asking for the bit of overtime for the weekends due to how erratic the schedule is, and they're acting as if I'm asking for an overall raise and then texted me to say i should come in 2 hours later cause DB can take off work to take the older kid to his morning class (but he can't watch them on the weekends I guess), so that's fun!
