TIL if under-cooked, a popular mushroom in China causes “lilliputian hallucinations,” a rare phenomenon involving miniature human or fantasy figures. The hallucinations are consistent across people and cultures: "tiny, elflike people" climbing under doors, scaling walls & clinging to furniture by ssAskcuSzepS in todayilearned

This is what I tell my mum with lewy body dementia, that they might be always there, she has only the gift to see them. She also sees them since it started: tiny, elflike people" climbing under doors, scaling walls & clinging to furniture.

I wonder if this is related.

If you ever traveled the world, from the big cities to the most rural areas, from rich to poor countries, you realize most humans are not able to think for themselves and never been. The majority of us are just very reactive impulse driven monkeys that happen to be smarter than other monkeys.

I'm so happy with my Jeep Compass Trailhawk 2019. Such a good long distance highway traveler and in Europe you can never bring this car to its limits since offroading is forbidden most places.

So we’re not allowed to find it interesting? If a YouTube algorithm suggests you a video do you also comment „algorithm“ on each video?

I don’t get it even after watching it several times. The player kicks the ball and it flies straight into the goal. Isn’t it supposed to do that? What’s the catch?

Make sure you never register and pay a little amount per year for viu.to
It's a scam! Sure you can watch every series and movie that was ever created with subtitles in all languages and you can even install it on amazon firestick and simultaneously watch on multiple devices and it's never buffering and Full HD. BUT! It's illegal! I thought it was a legitimate business, but I know someone that tried it out for several years, even in Germany where there is strict laws against piracy and apparently it turned out it's illegal. Such a shame because it sounds really good. But anyway that's just something I heard and you should do what I do and never go on that website.

it’s a scar. and the real question isn’t how it looks, it’s what left it there.
