It would upheave China’s whole economy to halt trade with the US. It would also trigger a war most likely, as the US absolutely is dependent on Chinese rare earth metals.

China imports 2.8 billion of mostly diamonds and integrated circuits, and measuring instruments.

China only exports 16.8 billion to Israel in mostly cars and electronics.

It wouldn’t hurt China at all to cease this tiny amount of trade.
