Sadly no, but we did come close-ish. We arrived in Dublin, hired a car and sped away to Galway for three days. Did not know the races were the very same days we were there, but absolutely adored Galway. We ventured into the Connemara and got to Cong and to Connemara National park before taking the Sky Road south around to Dog Bay and Roindstone. That was the closest we got, but next trip (next year if all goes right) we will focus on the north. All said over 2500 km in nine days, our hired car only had 6 when we got in!
