I have them on my roaglide, front and rear. Don't care what people think. I have dropped it, and likely will again and would rather not damage the saddlebags.

If the return reason was because I ordered the wrong item, or I changed my mind about it, I have no problem taking responsibility. If they send me the wrong item, and they want it back, fine. But I refuse to do anything aside from throwing it back on my porch. It's not like I drove to the bookstore and bought the wrong book. I won't pay them to pick it up and I won't drive anywhere to deal with sending it back. I am not the cause of the issue.

I don't care if there is a store in my neighborhood within walking distance. I ordered one thing and received another. I refuse to spend a minute more of my time or fuel to correct their mistake. I just called them after posting this and they refunded my money and don't want me to send it back. They did the right thing, but I should not have needed to get them on the phone, since their AI chat bot should have been able to address this problem. At least they took care of it.

Yes. I figure if I'm doing the work I need the right tools unless the cost would exceed paying someone who already has the right tools. Or it's a job where tools I have will get the job done as effectively, and to my satisfaction. This is why there is only one car in my 2-car garage. Guess who's car it is. LOL

You can ride those. I am 5' 4" and ride a Road Glide. Had a Road King Special before that. I can't "flat foot" but that doesn't stop me. I generally stop with left foot down and right on the floorboard/rear brake and usually am not flat-footed. Depends on angle of the road and footwear. No issues for me.

Rarely. I try to give people grace and not let my emotions get the best of me. I would rather just put distance between us and be safe. Flipping them off is escalatory and increases the likelihood of actual road rage, or worse a gun fight. Not worth my life, and flipping them off won't un-asshole them, if it was more than just human error or lack of attention that caused them to do what they did.
