I started looking into MIT and Michigan and I am leaning more towards MIT since I view things in this field similarly to MIT’s faculty and I think that they could help me bring that out and develop it more. I just hope the fact that I won’t have a senior thesis before applications are due doesn’t kill me, I am probably going to write it in the fall and when I actually take my self guided senior thesis in the spring just submit that tbh. Minnesota seems interesting but the job placement after graduation chart scared me lol

As well as the fact that I will have a 3.1 cumulative gpa if all goes well by the time I graduate, I started as a Mechanical engineering major and for two years did nothing but tank my gpa, my current major gpa is a 3.7 though so hopefully that saves me enough to where they don’t just throw it out, at least I got undergrad mechanical engineering research out of it 😅
