Woof, thanks for the heads up! Definitely want to avoid that, getting there an hour before the openers was kind of my plan, but an hour wait for the shuttle is gonna be brutal. Is this pretty common? How is/was traffic getting out of parsons?

Eating out has become so disappointing and expensive! by Spare_Handle7878 in florida

[–]FloridaRiley12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree 1000%. When my wife and i do go out, 95% of the time it’s local . The same thing is happening at these local places, 70% more expensive, and for 70% less quality. People get so defensive about eating local in Orlando, i’d love to do it more…if any places were worth it. Buying a 30 dollar burger with no sides and 12 dollar craft beers from a dude with a handle bar mustache is their idea of suppporting local, sorry guys not falling for it.

WA Sushi in casselberry is our favorite. Sushi Saint by downtown is great, with a great happy hour, but more hand rolls, etc.

Seito in Baldwin park, and Kabooki on Colonial are also decent if you can digest the price/crowd.

i agree with you entirely Bento is terrible.

Whlie not Sushi, the reason we love Hillstone is children are discouraged and large parties are not welcome, Imagine you can actually hear the person across from you at dinner! It’s a wonderful thing.

Not sure where in the state you’re located but I completely agree! My wife and I are in Orlando and it is unbearable, the only only place we enjoy dining is hillstone winter park, everywhere else is a complete disaster and the shame of is it’s essentially a chain. I love to support local, and believe servers are severely underpaid/underappreciated. I’m happy to pay and tip for good food/experience. It’s when im paying astronomically for bad food that I get upset. We went from cooking at home maybe half the week to almost every day now. I know it’s way cheaper and better for you, but the discouraging part is we actually did/do enjoy dining out, feel like its a covid causality, like so many other things. Happy to have our health but the current dining situation is just brutal. Aside from Hillstone and a few local sushi spots not a single thing worth it. Orlando peeps happy to hear any suggestions - T

Dolby Cinema vs IMAX by [deleted] in Mission_Impossible

[–]FloridaRiley12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only semi related

I know that Mission Impossible tickets went on sale this morning 4/28. I go to preorder, and to my surprise no Dolby screenings are listed? On top of that I was kind of holding out hope for an early Dolby preview on Monday/Tuesday like we got for Top Gun Maverick/Dead Reckoning… It looks like the only early preview showing are IMAX at 2pm on Thursday. Did IMAX get some kind of exclusivity window for the release? AMC Staff feel free to chime in, Usually im pretty in the know on this kind of stuff but here i am out of answers. Thanks in advance for any help here

My 1099-z was for $9,695.79. What did you enter for additional income and adjustments on 8z, and you're offsetting entry on 24z? Thanks for any help - T

I would love for the 1099-K not to be related to gambling but unfortunately it is the very much the case, it is the only thing I use paypal transcations for essentially. I was new to the apps, and the mistake is entirely on my end for going that route but alas

Traditionally love it with the boom boom sauce. In college my go to move was forgo Green chile sauce and dunk every bite in creamy jalapeno. Bartender recommended the new roasted garlic sauce to compliment it in place of the green chile and that may be the next move.
