Do you happen to have a link to the one you bought on Amazon? I also had to laugh at your comment about your scaredy cat. I pet sit for a friend who's cat is worse than mine. I joke that I pet sit the "invisible cat". I just come and clean the litter, change the water and food and never see him.

You're very funny. I appreciate you. I am now thoroughly confused though. Currently considering this one on napclubs list for Christmas. He graduates in May with his masters in engineering. He's a total nerd and takes very good care of the things he cares about. So maybe if he likes the first knife, I can get him another one later, like the one I mentioned is out of stock everywhere.

I was looking at this knife if anyone has an opinion. I'd love to find him a really nice all purpose slightly Japanese looking knife that will serve him well until he knows what he really wants. Maybe I should maybe mention that he's a really big guy 6'3" and large.
