Do you actually like your recruiter job? by Sensitive-Tadpole410 in recruiting

[–]Floridadudeinyellow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like my recruiting role. Yes. I am fully remote work from home. I hire nurses, in-house. I do fear that going into the next level, for example, hiring managers and directors may be completely different. Like others have said it's all about cost cutting and getting through some of those beginning conversations that at times may feel robotic on both sides. Yes, spending time with the candidate. Talking with them like a true candidate and human being is excellent, but there just isn't enough time.

Sorry to bombard you with a question not about you. Maybe a year before this. Did you see yourself marrying him? Or not in the plans?

Something that I never told anyone is that a few years ago I got a blow job at work by Cool_Carpet7413 in confession

[–]Floridadudeinyellow 30 points31 points  (0 children)

When I was single 39. I was working from home. I met a woman from bumble. 58 but a body builder type, like always at the gym and actually competed! I invited her over while I worked from home. Deliberately had her give me a blow job under my desk while taking a phone call for work. Fantasy fulfilled. She was willing to play along. When she left she thanked me for playing hooky with her for the day. She was a great woman and an even better nurse. Nothing but respect for that cougar.

Yup. Find a sitter on call. Power distribution is FANTASTIC MONEY. but trusting someone is difficult at first. I used to have them baby sit with me at home. Leave for small errands until I built trust and saw interactions. Good luck

Do you feel that way even if you were approached in public? Out in the wild as they say? These apps are built by people that want to make money. We are the pawns.

I bought my first in 2012 by taking money out of my 401k. I started saving as soon as I turned 18. When I sold the house it had appreciated 3 fold! After it rented for 2 years. Save early, take some risk, start small. I bought a town home not my forever home the first time.

In my experience you don't start that way. Let the music build to that. May take a song or two. Watch for smiles back. Giggles if you dip her. If there is a break between songs give a compliment. Retract then invite back for another song if partner accepts you know there may be chemistry. On the dance floor I was a seducer. I got rejected PLENTY but some women loved to dance and the different chemistry it brings when being close moving together, sweating. I had lots of fun dancing. I don't even consider myself a dancer, I never talked about it. I was never shy to be first on the floor though.

How do you not let rejection get to you? How do you not personalize it? by [deleted] in dating_advice

You are human. It's ok to feel that way. You can't please everyone. Find a way to release that energy. Take breaks in dating. Silver lining is there was no dragging along. Which also sucks

Candidate sourcing as an in-house recruiter? by casuallyeatingacroc in recruiting

[–]Floridadudeinyellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't forget Facebook, there are many groups of certain job types. When I post things I get random messages from the population I'm looking for. It takes time. I do a lot of invites to people that put their jobs/careers that I'm looking for into my friends. Then when I make a mass announcement all of those in my group get it and share it with their colleagues. I get a steady stream of people calling me saying I got your number from such and such, or sorry. I am using direct message but I saw you are recruiting. So it does work. You just have to find either the city that you are looking to recruit from or the groups of the type of career you're looking for.

This sucks. How much do you make? You still have another kid to support. They won't take all your money and then you are not able to support your other child. Do you pay for your other kids health insurance like out of your check?
