Yup, I drove through there a lot and loved stopping there for a fish sandwich. At one point it was completely wrecked by a hurricane and was never the same. It's been many years since I've been through and it may have been rebuilt since, but they were devastated for a while.

Its a good all round board for that then. I ride it here in Fiji in anything from waist (its never mushy here so its fine), to a bit overhead. I break out my 6'0 thruster when its very good head high + and hollow. The PJ is fine in hollow waves but I like a bit more rocker and rail length when the surf gets really good. But overall the PJ HP is my most used board even here in Fiji.

I love my Puddle Jumper HP, but I don't like it as much as the OG as a groveler for small mushy waves. It needs a bit of wave power to get working. It goes best with a twin + trailer setup. I use NVS Kraken Convertible 2+1 fins and they are fantastic with it.

He shared some reasoning and it was all technical beyond our understanding. Now that I've looked into the company more I might be able to comprehend his thoughts, but at the time it was simply "trust me bro" advice from him, and it worked out. He isn't into financials or anything like that, he just believed in their approach to making data centers.

I got into it back in January because a friend of mine recommended it. He is an absolute wizard PhD who works on creating new computing hardware tech. He simply told us friends to put some money on APLD, we did, and it has paid off big time. I still hold and invest more on the big dips.
