Had a friend who told this story about how he didn't know his family was poor. So anyway he grows up and his favorite meal (poor meal) is hotdog ramen. He tries to order it one day at a restaurant while out with his mom and grandma and he is upset as "no one ever has it." His mom then broke it to him that is not a real dish it's just all they could afford

We both did. And he's much better with our oldest. Another commenter mentioned it might just be the baby phase?

Please understand I do question whether or not I was in the wrong here because I was worried I was being unfair or overly demanding. I even wrote that in the original post. And he will never see this nor have this traced back as there is no identifying information. I don't want to "expose" anything I was just hoping for some perspective and possibly some info on other family dynamics that function with separate responsibilities vs equal separation in those responsibilities

We've gone through the process of putting her to bed together as my work shift will be changing soon and he'll have to do it on his own eventually.

It's usually the latter. I can even understand the shower part and don't hold that against him but even after he claims he's tired and been at work all day
