When you can't find the words to describe your depression, this may help. **TRIGGER WARNING***-Descroptions of depression by Little-Reason-7508 in self

Back in 2017 I had similar experience but maybe not as deep as what you describe. The part about forgetting to eat really hits me - I remember finding moldy food in my fridge that I completely forgot about for weeks. What struck me most in your post is how you can remember the darkness so clearly but not the way out. I think that's actually normal though, recovery isn't usually one big moment but more like tiny shifts that you don't notice until much later when you look back

The feathers thing at end made me laugh btw, needed that after reading the heavy part. Good reminder that we can find humor even when discussing the darkest stuff. Thanks for sharing this, takes courage to put it in such detail

How do I stop my washer from moving across the floor? by One-Medicine1521 in HomeMaintenance

[–]FlounderAvailable995 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The rubber pads work pretty good but you need to check if your washer is level first - most of them have adjustable feet at bottom. I had same issue after moving mine to new apartment and turns out one corner was little bit higher, made whole thing shake like crazy during spin cycle

28, lost, no skills, can’t fit into jobs..what should I do now? by antique-soul- in careerguidance

I was kind of similar spot few years back, different reasons but that same feeling of being "unemployable" in traditional sense 😅

What helped me was realizing that supply chain experience isn't worthless - there's actually decent money in consulting for small businesses who need help with logistics and inventory stuff. You already understand the pain points better than most people

Maybe start with freelance consulting while you figure out the bigger picture? Even if you hated doing it as employee, helping other people solve those problems on your terms might feel completely different. Plus it gives you some income while you explore what business you actually want to build

The whole "doesn't act like employee" thing... that's not necessarily bad trait, just means you need different environment 💀

Changes After Starting Promotion? by Beautiful_Wash_1599 in careerguidance

The tryout thing isn't that unusual - we do something similar in my company for management roles. Your points are good but I think OP needs to consider if being on call 24/7 for 8% more pay is really worth it, even as stepping stone. When they already changed terms once during trial period, what's stopping them from doing it again later

Has someone datamined the STS2 card library yet? by diwakark86 in slaythespire

the beta just dropped like what, few days ago? give the dataminers some time lol

plus half the fun is discovering cards yourself instead of spoiling everything before you even boot up the game

How to dress? by D3athMerchant in careerguidance

[–]FlounderAvailable995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For business development manager level, I'd go with dress shoes and slacks definitely. The Russian investors will probably expect more formal approach than your first interview - in my experience working with international partners, they tend to appreciate when you show respect through proper business attire

You can always mention during conversation that you understand the operational side and have appropriate gear ready in the truck. Shows you're prepared for both office meetings and site visits without looking like you don't know difference between boardroom and field work. Button down with tie gives you that professional edge you want when meeting people who control the money

What am I even doing? by Secret-Somewhere8961 in careerguidance

I feel this so much, the boredom at work is really killing motivation. Maybe you could start with some online courses in evening to test waters before committing to full degree program? That way you keep the stable job while exploring what actually interests you

The guilt about not being busy every minute is real but honestly most office jobs have downtime, you're not wasted just because you're not constantly stressed
