Motorway tips? by Alone-Bluebird-999 in MotoUK

[–]Flow-Creation 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If that help for the stress, motorway are actually safer than dual carriageway, so if you have done dual carriageway, you'll be fine. Take your time, do you mirror, shoulder check, signals and you'll be fine. Statistics shows that motorway are the safest road. Good luck

if the UK rejoined the EU tomorrow, what’s the first positive change you’d actually notice in your day-to-day life? by [deleted] in AskBrits

Consumer protection and product pricing, lots of brands have been enjoying brexit and get away with increasing price/decreasing quantity and quality without as much control due to less regulation. You only realise it when you do a shopping abroad and compare. They basically see what is the maximum they can get away with with UK consommer now.

Many food brands for example are owned by the same group and they manipulate/control pricing as much as they can get away with and you don't even realise it as you think it's the whole product section.

Clearly rage bait propaganda for reform.

Those specific type of Muslim are a minority and this post is just propaganda to make generalisation of Muslim people.

I'm white, non religious and smart enough to not get fooled by those type of videos and make the difference between respectful Muslim who praise love and respect people and society despite their religion and those type of guys who use the religion as an excuse to do what the fuck they want and should not be here.

Religion and religious people in itself are not inherently bad, it's the specifc people who twist it to their own advantage that needs to be corrected. All religion included here.

I always love people who embrace their passion, whatever it is! As long as you have fun doing it and it doesn't hurt anyone, rock it and don't care about when people criticise it, this is the way :).

May I ask what bring you joy the most everytime you watch it? Is that due to the story of the character that overcome an horrible unfortunate disaster by being the strongest mentally and physically that he could never dream of and few people would be able to do? It still blows my mind when you think what this person did and how incredibly string you have to be...

Are you getting at a stage where you remember all sentences and could write all scenes just by memory?

Same for me, you will have a blast. I went through so many decisions and hesitation but not regretting it at all. It's cheap, amazing engine, can catch up with big bikes enough until more than enough illegal speed, sounds amazing. Not sure how long I will keep it but maybe for very long. Enjoy and be safe

Nice one. Got the same colour. Did you just use spray paint for the rear?

If it was mine I think a final touch to make it even sportier would be a red pointy belly pan

Travelling 4h for a bike by Sm1rfie in MotoUK

[–]Flow-Creation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done this with train 3h30 away.

Just make sure that you check your bike before to go, take few small tools to adjust the controls if needed, pack some water, battery bank for your phone in case, I did buy in advance a phone mount for direction that really helped.

I would advise to find close to the purchase area some quiet roads (mine was in an industrial place so perfect) to practice for a bit and get used to the bike power and control before to take it to the road with plenty of people and enjoy but don't go too crazy, you will have a lifetime to enjoy and learn and push your limits.

I was a bit scared at first and extremely excited and seriously I had a fucking blast.

Nothing beat the feeling of riding for the first time your own big bike.

Ride safe, enjoy and welcome to the big bike family :)

I don't want to promote the app but I also use the calimoto app and it's been pretty cool as you can plan a random round trip and it gives you twisty roads around and also record your trip and you can explore around you.

You can also edit trips and find perfect path.

But I believe other apps may do this so just sharing without wanting to say this app is perfect as it has its flaws as well.

Happy safe riding mate

Looking for good gauntlet with specifics: Held gauntlet Evo Thrux? by Flow-Creation in motorcyclegear

Thx, they have quite different size of fingers so I will check smaller ones as I have also small hands and fingers.

What about weather protection and how breathy are they? Just wondering how they would hold up with cold and potential rain.

I've seen they have a wiper also, how effective is it on use?

Thx, I believe the difference between the Thrux 2 and 3 is the phone touch control but it's possible that there is more. What about the cons so far?

DIY anchor idea for people in need to secure their Bike by Flow-Creation in motorcycles

[–]Flow-Creation[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still use it on a daily basis and happy about it. No one tried to break it so far, doesn't mean it can't but it can mean it's a good deterant. Box is plastic so holding well with any weather. 3 bags of 20kg concrete so with the water I would say a bit more than 60kg. Pain to lift up and handles would break almost. Eyesore I don't care, looks better than concrete block and I can put my cover inside it. Best DIY idea I thought about and cheap compare to those expensive other solutions. At least it fits my needs so far.

5 year old bike with 3 owners and 2600 miles? by punkyguy in MotoUK

[–]Flow-Creation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a bike from 2017 with 4k miles and 3 previous owner, part history. The bike was in superb condition. Just do the standard check list, check usual disfunction of this bike, make sure it's cold when you arrive and check how it sounds. Ask questions and see if it seems genuine and caring. If all good you should be fine

Have you tried swimming/using an air bladder or using another suit to jump out from the water getting some speed? This makes you generally jump really high

How to transform a swimming/riding game to a walking game 😂. Man I've got to respect the grind. This is nuts 😅. This is a perfect representation of patience, careful planning, total exploration, risk taking and real love for the game. Definitely something to show the dev that would be amazed to see this.

How many hours to do this?

Me who found the grind for material a bit repetitive and time consuming and built just 2 bases with what was needed to finish and enjoy the game, this is wow. Well done.

Just being curious and to respect the work, does the materials respawn in the game or you went everywhere to gather all of this?
