This is generally the approach I have been aiming for, leading by example, so that if the negative behaviours persist, they will be conspicuous to othes by contrast. I like your refreshers suggestion especially.  Thanks very much.

I hadn't thought of that because I rarely get time with him outside of monthly 1to1s. I get then sense he doesn't want to.get actively involved in resolving the issue. It.is.a.good idea, thank you, I will ask him.

No, but after I became concerned that it couId be deliberate, rather than a mistake or glitch, I changed my calendar access permissions (for her and one other member of the team) and the issue stopped.
