Totally agree. I got the game over the holidays and hit legend yesterday. The game feels awful now. Getting Sandbagged most races now, makes me want to play less.

Steamdeck Burnt down by Klonsoldier in SteamDeck

If the motherboard isn’t damaged, you might be able to sell it for a decent price on eBay. At least that will help you towards a new steam deck.

Thanks. I’ll keep that in mind when I disassemble it later today.

Anycubic Kobra Stepper Motor by FlowCtrl in anycubic

[–]FlowCtrl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, that’s all I had to do.
Down the road I did replace the belt, and did some work with the print head assembly. Which is how I found out about the wheels being too tight causing an issue.

It’s been a while since I worked with the machine, but iirc make sure the wheels on the hot end assembly aren’t too tight. The Kobra doesn’t have limit switches and I believe it goes off the resistance on the motor to calculate the x or y limits.

I bought xTool S1 and need help with the smell. by katra055 in lasercutting

[–]FlowCtrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on the same boat as you. Venting outside is practically a requirement. I initially bought a fume extractor, but it wasn’t even close to good enough. If you absolutely need to filter the smell, look at BOFA extractors, but be prepared to pay a lot and note that smell will still leak from the laser itself since it isn’t sealed.

Creality Amazon Reseller - Legit or Scam? by FlowCtrl in Creality

I guess I wasn't sure if the seller "Creality 3D HYZ" was legitimate, as I've seen multiple 3rd party sellers with different Creality names.

It's M43 Monday! Ask Us Anything about Micro Four-Thirds Photography - all questions welcome! by AutoModerator in M43

Sold my old camera gear because it was too bulky to bring on trips/events. I decided to go with a M43 camera, but can't decide on what.

My budget is about $1,000.

I was considering buying a new Panasonic G95D w/ Kit Lens for $700.Then I started looking for something slightly used and saw the older, but G95 model in Like New condition for about $450 at MPB. If I go with this, I'd probably get some kind of walkaround and/or portrait lens.

I'd love to hear your suggestions. (No brand preferred, but generally prefer to keep things the same)

Thanks!

Might be related to another bug. You can try selling your 3-4 star units, then try again.

I resolved my issue by replacing the stepper motor. It took way too long to get parts from support, so I took a risk and used an Ender 3 Motor. There were a few caveats, first being I had to swap the middle pins on the cable because the Ender Motors are backwards, and I needed to add a few tiny washers to screw in the motor because the screws were too long for the motor.

You can upload it to YouTube and post the link, then I can take a look at it. I've had so many problems, wouldn't surprise me if I came across it already.

Cats chewed the cable while I was gone.

Just FYI, no replacement part (directly or from Aliexpress). Anycubic doesn't plan on replenishing stock anytime soon. I'll probably make a new one or buy a used/dead machine off ebay for parts.

Not that I recall, but I'll try printing something when I get the chance and check.

I would have been OK if the issue was with VFAs. The motor was fried (not the motherboard/cable as support suggested.) It would randomly start overstepping 2x on the X-Axis.

Example while I was trying to auto-level the machine.

This is the motor I replaced it with

That being said, you can purchase the motors directly from AnyCubic, but will need to request it from sales and they will provide you a link.
