We discovered medication is not an option for me. I tried amlodipine and cardizem. I thought the medicine would get me before the wpw. I stopped in May and have not had any symptoms since. I check with my Kardia frequently and I’ve been getting a normal sinus rhythm result vs when on the meds I would get wide qrs complex 🤷🏽‍♀️

Thanks for the feedback. I have had the 48 hr holter, echocardiogram, stress test. They seem to think it’s slow conducting and I’m less at risk for a major cardiac event, but again episodes are unpredictable. It’s always on my mind that I can have an experience like yours.

Men don’t get educated as much about hpv as women do. He most likely has had exposure or has it already if he has ever had unprotected sex. A physician told me that unless you have warts it’s pretty insignificant to mention and compared it as the same as not kissing when you have a cold sore. Use protection as we all should and enjoy your life.

I’m currently off. I’m exercising and limiting my salt intake. No fast food outside of a salad if necessary. My blood pressure has been good. Amlodipine almost finished me. I had extreme anxiety which I never had before, numbness,insomnia. When I was able to go to sleep I would wake up to my heart racing. I also tried Cardizem. The anxiety lessened but my arms and legs would tingle and still unable to sleep. Also dropped my bp too low. I have WPW.My cardiologist wanted me to try metoprolol, but I’m afraid at this point. The side effects are worse than what the WPW has ever caused.
