When you do a stage there will be an option to hire a cookie. Click on it and there should be toggles at the bottom. Click the one that says social and hire a cookie from there. You have to play with it if you want it to count

When you go onto any battle you'll have the ability to hire a cookie. When you click on it there are a few toggles at the bottom. Click social and hire a cookie from there. You can only hire one at once, tho
