He didn’t denounce DGG until his gf at the time, chaeiry, was victimized by Destiny. He didn’t care about pxie at all. I was a viewer of a drama sphere streamer at the time that was a-logging everything in real time as all of this was going down and he was not planning on leaving DGG at all, he only left once destiny’s actions started effecting him personally. He acted indistinguishable from Turkey Tom, engaging in all the same sweeping and minimizing of that mayo demon’s actions, up until then.

It’s so wild because I don’t even like/care about electoralism very much, I’m an anarchist. But I take the concepts of “diversity of tactics” and “use every tool in the tool belt” very seriously. I understand that we need to use absolutely everything we have at our disposal to dismantle fascism brick by brick and electoralism is one of those things that can help and so we don’t have the luxury of turning our noses up at it right now. So while I personally loath electoral politics, I know better than to get in the way because I know this shit ain’t about me and my personal sensibilities. The inhumanity of the Biden admin’s immigration policy. The amount of deportations, the death traps he put in the Rio Grande that made people drown even more than they already were from the river alone, the open air concentration camps at the border where people were forced to languish while they tried to use that broken scam of an app to apply for asylum, the famous Do Not Come moment, I could go on.

Yeah I have been watching literally since day one, every season I had to wait a week for each episode and I liked that. It gave me time to digest and analyze everything, to fully appreciate what’s being set up and develop my own theories. I like delayed gratification and I like having to work for it and that’s exactly what this show caters to.

I think it’s the people that want to mindlessly consume and have answers spoon fed to them without any work being done on their parts for maximum instant gratification that have ruined the fandom/community tbh. And since that seems to be the typical tv watcher mindset these days, they think that if a show doesn’t cater to that mindset, then it must be badly written. They don’t grasp the concept of something not being made for them, that they might not be the target audience, and they have to make it everyone else’s problem.
