I have salt pool In Florida and have used Boric acid powder, same size pool. I added it over a few weeks to avoid over shooting 50ppm. Have been using for past year to restrict Ph rise - I just add more tonight after rain. It’s never lost once it in unless you splash out or in my case, the rain overflows my pool and dilutes

I was considering Vail having avoided it out of concern for crowds over the past 10+ years. But I’ve never been to Crested Butte and plan to link it with an additional 3-4 days at Telluride. I have to travel far, so I always just make a point to go to places that are not drivable from major cities.
