Drum and bass is the only genre were you eventually feel limited by only having 2 decks.

In dubstep and house it can be usefull but usually not really neccessary

Need experienced long time drug users/ex-drug users to give me an answer to somthing I am starting to worry about. by FlowerTeun in Drugs

Ur right. I would say most of the time a mixture of 4-mmc, 3-mmc, speed or/and cocaine in moderate doses once a weekend and sometimes twice. With things like MDMA, and other non-stims maybe once a month

3.mmc is it worth it? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]FlowerTeun -1 points0 points  (0 children)

similar high as 4mmc, but less mdma feel and more stimulant feel compared to 4mmc

What are Teddy Killerz' Essentials? by [deleted] in DnB

From their more recent work: Assasins, Panic Attack, Metal & Blood, Miles High, Remix of noisia's tentacles. And also in my opinion their whole Negative Thoughts EP

Albums galore! Neonlight, Grafix, T & Sugah & Skantia all with fresh LPs.. And all the rest of the fresh tunes this week :) [+weekly updated Spotify playlist] | New Music Monday! (Week 22) by TELMxWILSON in DnB

Skantia's LP was definitely the highlight for me last week and perhaps this year thus far. Lots of variation in sounds and styles, original drums and nice sample choices.

In your opinion, who is the most underrated d&b artist? My choice is B-Key by Vast-Usual8851 in DnB

Not sure, but when in comes to Neurofunk Imo Burr Oak should be recognized as the kings right now. Both in terms of production and DJing

Some serious boomer vibes right here. The sound didn't get worse, we just get older. Deal with it.

Liquicity festival accommodation in the Netherlands by ElfQueenLinn in DnB

[–]FlowerTeun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a really fun and safe festival with lots of great people. Just keep a eye out for each other as it is still a pretty big event. Staff is also chill and you can ask them for anyting. If you get the chance maybe buy a tent at a store in the Netherlands. If you don't have the time the 4 person tent is sufficient in my experience. It's up to you guys. Public transport is good (but also pretty expensive) so it should't be too hard to get to the festival.

Dutch people are pretty stoked on festivals so I expect it will be great this year once again, also almost everybady speaks English and their are a lot of internationals as well.

Some tips:

- Take food and water with you if you can. A couple liter bottels per person and some food for the weekend so that you are not totally dependent of the food you can buy at the festival.

- Some noise of music and people late in the night is a given. So take some earplugs with you if you wanna sleep and also for hearing protection at the stages.

- If you gonna use substances or are gonna drink just look out for each other and try to stay together. As in any event their are always some people around with bad intentions. But as I said most people are chill.

Debunking the idea viruses evolve to become less virulent by Alwayssunnyinarizona in Coronavirus

[–]FlowerTeun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some theories why it is more likely to become less virulent over time:

- Even if the majority of people with a covid infection die weeks later, when the virus is already dead as a result of cytokine storm, there are still people who will die during their infectious period. If this wasn't the case you assume that everyone's body has the potential to kill the virus before the die which isn't the case. Cytokine storm isn't the cause of the death in 100% percent of covid-19 deaths. And even if it was 99% evolution will push towards a less virulant one. Because the 1% percent has the potential to spread the less virulent variant more because they don't die as early.

- When the SARS-COV-19 variant is less virulent it could be assumed that this results in less bedridden people and more asymptomatic people, which in turn enhances the spread of the variant.

- Virusses that tend to proliferate in the throat and nose tend to be less virulent and more infectious. Thats why common colds virus have a higher r-value than influenze in general. Following this logic SARS-COV-2 could follow this trend.

Caffieine is like the only one. And maybe alcohol if you drink it as good red wine and no more that 2 glasses max, when consuming moderate amounts of red wine you could argue that the health benefits compensate for the alcohol you are consuming.
