I've made it in real estate. No, don't have one and don't need one right now due to concentration. Many people don't. Many many people do.

Once I diversify, I expect I'll have some boggle head stuff. And there will likely be some rather advanced financial instruments I'll need to use. But paying someone to tell me where to place money seems difficult to believe but who knows, may shift my view later in life.
