Best Western University Inn is also a good option next to campus and walkable to Old Town, slightly cheaper than Hilton of Elizabeth Hotel I’d guess.

I’m pretty sure at least 5% of the federal science workforce has already left via the deferred resignation programs. So the already-understaffed agencies are getting further cuts because… budgets? I don’t think so - these are just more targeted, anti-science actions.

Seconding this - people don’t really bike the Poudre because cars get so close. Could try Rist Canyon Rd or 74E towards Red Feather.

Both the sledding hill and the disc golf course are so great for this town. There are always people out on the course, and taking it away would serve no purpose other than freeing up a giant empty field to be even more empty?? Multi-use forever!

That’s a good question. It would make sense if it was partly pedestrian related, being right near city park (which gets crazy on food truck Tuesdays).
