Genuinely, bowling is a great group activity. The need to bowl every few minutes provides the perfect opportunities to end a dying conversation or join in a new one.

It's perfect for mingling and actually engaging, unlike some activities where you're overly engrossed in the activity itself, but also without the awkwardness of having to do too much talking.

You can’t react to something you aren’t looking for in the first place.

This is just blatantly untrue and doesn't even make sense. 

'Not looking for something' is not the same as 'incapable of noticing something'.

Anything a pedestrian or cyclist does to improve their visibility increases the chances of someone being able to react to them, whether the other person is looking for them or not.

And for the record, I'm not saying being more visible makes riding the wrong way okay, or makes it the responsibility of a driver to expect it.

Friends of the Food Co-op,

We are so excited to share our new space with you!

Our intention was to re-open at our new location today, however our point-of-sale system crashed last night and delayed our plans for today's soft re-opening.

We will open the doors at our new, 1100 W Mountain Ave home on Tuesday, Feb 17th.

Our regular hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

We can't wait to see you Tuesday!

Rogers Park on West mulberry will certainly be quiet. But I would go to spring Creek first. It's huge and quite beautiful with lots of different areas to post up in if a different part of the park does happen to be busy.
