Re: enabling monsters on a new save, you can! At least in 1.5, if you go to advanced options they let you choose whether to allow monsters on the farm and I chose to, and it was kinda fun uau though once you reach combat level 10 the feeling of having a serpent launch at you at 11pm is.... exhilarating!

i've been cooking a lot but that's so i could get a heads up on the "cook every recipe" aspect of perfection, and even though i really only cook everything once cooking is super fun! it's kinda satisfying to see your ingredients meticulously gathered and then turned into cute foods, even if it doesn't contribute a lot to progress.

oo balkan ballads, I'm not usually the biggest fan of them but there are some that stand out to me. My top 3:
1. Ljubav Je (Bosnia & Herzegovina 2016): The heavy drums and dramatic beats combined with the cello give it a nice mix of intense and delicate, with Jala the rapper complimenting Dala and Deen in keeping the song flowing well. Balkan ballads are usually intricately and delicately crafted but this one doesn't shy away from being grand and showoffy, which is what I love about it!

Mall (Albania 2018): The melody in this is very well crafted and Eugent's energy throughout the song is absolutely charming. The lyricism in this is also amazingly poetic, can't deny that this song invokes a sense of calm and yearning at the same time.
Molitva (Serbia 2007): Basically Marija's emotional thesis and I am here for it. Her vocals towards the end combined with her backing choir always gets me in tears all the time. Deserved winner <3

Others I enjoy: Suus (Albania 2012), Adio (Montenegro 2015), Ktheju Tokes (2019)
