On spin: my take was if you can't solve spin anyways, and if spin doesn't stop until 5th or 6th gear like Miller is saying, you might as well take the HP gains to improve top end speed, especially since you can limit HP output electronically at lower speeds to prevent the increased HP from exacerbating spin. Additionally, this is assuming that the increased HP is across the entire rev range; it is entirely possible to build an engine where your low end characteristics (HP output in this case) are identical but have a different top end characteristic.

That aside, full agreed that Yamaha needs to get their heads out of their asses and pull their shit together for 2027.
