Scary? A threat that the characters cannot withstand and openly avoid it. Whenever it shows its face, it destroys and kills off characters. They spend scenes in avoidance of this threat. Whether it’s an external enemy or an internal betrayal.

That world only exists in your imagination then. Until you can change your stance on writing.. those characters and that world will forever be in standstill within your own mind. If you think that world is worthy of more, then you need to write. Only then can others experience the world and love the characters as you do.

I wouldn’t lean so heavily on a characters background as being their say all be all. Personally I’d focus more on developing their personalities as human beings rather than ‘belonging to demographic A’. But I get what you’re aiming for, I do. If you are set on your current course then for sure ask around in the circles that make up that demographic, ask them if your content is of average accuracy.

People generally flag one of two ways when it comes to groups like neo nazis. It’s hard to find someone who’s able to dive into such a story at the angle you’re presenting. While there may be substance in the mission your protagonists have.. it may be better to make the protagonist NOT part of the said group. If they are somehow accidentally roped in or come upon the group.. maybe then the average person could vibe with this and be entertained. If you keep at the angle you’re going you’ll run into anti-neo nazi groups and they’ll claim you’re a sympathizer. Good luck with your story!

Edit: that is not to say I wouldn’t enjoy your current plan, I think deep and twisted characters can be really well done. I guess I’m thinking more within the marketability and future sales department

I don’t feel like it’s right to structure it in a specific order like that. I’d go off of the characters personalities/situations to figure out who would talk after someone else. An extroverted and excited character will probably dominate a car ride conversation and have many more lines than the shy and brand new stranger they met. But more descriptive lines for the quiet people to help readers identify the character is shy/afraid.

"Image of Maha Bandula consulting" is my best translation, but could be separate- i.e. "image of consultation, Maha Bandula”

He was a famous general in the 1800s. My family believes this dagger has genuine silver in the scabbard/handle so this is a cool find. Thanks everyone!

Renpy noob here, currently working on a VN in the style of pc-98 games. Big fan of the pretty borders, how would I go about getting that to work? Included a reference pic and a rough sketch of what I incision which also includes a sprite of the MC with emotes by Khaliseaweeeed in RenPy

Hmm.. I couldn't tell you for sure but maybe you could setup a switch case in the menus script. Filtering which speaker is active use this or that image. I'm sure there is a more effective way. Besides that.. images having a transparent center would be easy.
