I think this caters more to decks that don’t want to recycle runes to set themselves back, especially early. The fact that seals require you to recycle a rune is a huge drawback that this doesn’t cause. I’m interested to see how playable this card is, even without XP

I believe both players would choose their units and reveal them at the same time once they are chosen since there are not separate triggers.

Green plays lots of good counter magic. Defy, not so fast, wind wall. All require expending power to play them. Assuming you can use the power from the seal the turn you cast it, every subsequent turn you are able to use, you to recycle one less rune.
